Full-Time Utilities Lineman (All level Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman & General Foreman) ***PER-DIEM BASED ON PROJECT LOCATION***

With over 70 years of operating experience, Primoris Power Delivery services include engineering and design, installation and maintenance, material and equipment procurement, repair of electrical transmission, distribution, substation, wireless communication, and storm restoration. Our experience ranges from small engineering and consulting projects to multi-million dollar turn-key distribution, substation, and transmission line programs.

Job Location:

·      North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland

Pay

·      $24 - $65 Hourly, weekly pay, and 1.5x/2X overtime opportunities

·      Daily Per Diem based on location

We currently have opportunities in Overhead or Underground:

• Distribution General Foreman, Foreman, Journeyman & Apprentice Lineman
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving history, CDL required for most positions
• All positions require participation in federally compliant FMSCA drug and alcohol testing program. This includes both pre-employment and ongoing random testing.

Education & Minimum Requirements:

• Lineman certification or completion of lineman school and any previous apprenticeship hours is required.
• Able to successfully complete both an oral, written exam and proficiency demonstration to determine position level.
• Able to provide your own tools and gear. Rubber Goods are assigned by company to each individual employee.
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold.
• Must possess physical dexterity to be able to lift a minimum of 50 LBS and safely perform other physical work.
• Able to travel on short-term basis.
• Demonstrate how to safely perform all tasks associated with high voltage electrical lines.
• Able to perform basic maintenance such as routine inspections, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
• Able to demonstrate climbing techniques and procedures, care and inspection of transmission structure hardware, tools, gear and various equipment, construction and installation of poles and various components.
• Must possess skills including digging, guying of pole structures, maintenance procedures, conductor handling/ rigging and splicing, tower erection and more.
